Physical Education

  • Students in first through sixth grades participate in the President's Challenge program for physical fitness. The Presidential Physical Fitness Award is presented to students who achieve an outstanding level of physical fitness during the school year. The National Physical Fitness Award recognizes a basic, yet challenging level of physical fitness.

  • Students in kindergarten through sixth grade participate in a skating unit during the final six-weeks of school each year. Skating safety is a strong emphasis of this program. Physical education students also participate in the Jump Rope for Heart program each year.
